So, we decided to get fish and chips and grilled halibut there instead. Let’s just say that the former didn’t taste too bad, but the latter was way too salty.Next to Fisherman’s House is Fisherman’s Sushi. It appeared to me as if the owners were different. Anyhow, we ordered sashimi and sushi here. The workers seemed friendly, but it took over half an hour to get our food. We were disappointed that it took so long for our food to be prepared and that the food tasted so mediocre—the sashimi didn’t taste too fresh and the rolls were just okay.
From October 15th, 2021 was abbreviated permanently. this place is now well closed due to the personal circumstances of the owner. it was a great place for authentic Korean sushi meals. please do not follow the open sign on social media pages, as they need to work on plan b when they see that this place is well closed.
Fresh sushi prepared before them! I love eating here and sitting at the harbour.
I don't understand these reviews. the sushi was a limit terrible. most rolls were just imitation crab salad that had less crab than supermarket sushi. tuna on the top was minimal, as thin it was looked through and looked old (off pink color). it tasted metallic. I've thrown away a whole roll that I never do. even crabstick nigiri tasted. the only thing that was really good was the wrong suppe. massive waste of $60 and let us get sick.
Really fresh sashimi and the atmosphere in the back eating area reminded me of the sashimi restaurants on the shores of Busan, South Korea. The chef ajusshi was very nice and came out to say hello.
