Amanda's Pizza & Grill - Oxford

It has been a year since we lived in Oxford, but Amandas was our favorite pizza place. We loved getting pizza with a side of onion rings there.

I really liked the medium cheese pizza we had. The crust was especially tasty! Our server was fantastic, and the service was quick and efficient.

I regularly visit Amandas. The food is consistently good with generous portions and affordable prices. The menu offers a great selection, including Chinese dishes. The restaurant also has a comfortable seating area.

We decided to search for pizza places in the area on our GPS and Amanda's Pizza and Grill. Not the best looking pizzeria, but the pizza sure tastes great!

Every once in a while a person receives a nice surprise. This restaurant is a case in point. Keeping in mind Amanda’s is primarily a take out, I have given it in relative terms a rating of excellent.. We recently moved to Oxford so have had a chance to sample most of the fare on Amanda’s menu. It is all excellent, and the fish and chips in particular are superb among the best we have ever had. Can't beat a 2 piece order for $6.95, and the serving size will satisfy most appetites. The 9 inch pizza will give two people two good sized pieces each, but if you are really hungry go for the 12 inch 6 pieces. Prices are very reasonable, and service is quick and efficient. It is primarily a take out, but table seating is available. It is easy to find take the Oxford exit from the Trans Canada Highway, and simply go straight down the main street. As you approach the first stop sign (less than a mile from the exit) Amanda's is on your right. Watch for the Capitol Theatre sign and the Town Hall on your right.
