Handy Andy Grocery - Oxford

We ordered lunch from here for the office this week. I chose the double cheeseburger with bacon. The bacon was cooked nicely, and you could tell the burger was hand-formed. However, it could have used a bit more seasoning. The fries were quite plain, and I wasn't impressed with them at all; they had no seasoning whatsoever, not even salt, and seemed like basic frozen fries. One of my coworkers got the BBQ nachos, and she enjoyed them.

A true local gem! Be sure to try the double cheeseburger; you won’t regret it – it’s the best burger in Oxford. You might find fancier options at other places, but nothing compares to this classic! Just remember, don’t expect a typical restaurant atmosphere. This is a charming, old-school spot that serves fresh, local Southern food at its best.

The cheeseburgers here are outstanding—absolutely fantastic. Ditch the chain restaurants and support the local scene; you won’t be let down!

The BBQ was incredible ? ? The teenager working the register had a bad attitude. The restroom was really nasty.

Cannot beat Phillips on whatever you order. Love their steak sandwich
