Daddy O's - Oxford

The food here is absolutely delicious and incredibly affordable! Everything from the cuisine to the service and decor was outstanding. I particularly enjoyed the quirky signs scattered throughout the restaurant—some of them are quite amusing! They even have a paper placemat where you can check off all 50 states as you find them. Our waitress was attentive and genuinely sweet, taking great care of my grandmother, who can be a bit quirky herself. The portion sizes were generous; my grandmother usually doesn't eat much, but even the children's menu could satisfy an average adult. I also loved the pantry you see when you first enter. It's wonderful to support a local restaurant with such a rich history. It’s truly inspiring to witness how people continue to thrive in this wild world! I will definitely return, and I plan to contribute to the pantry as well!

It is a beautiful restaurant and a good atmosphere. We met the owner who makes amazing charity work for the area and really makes good burgers and hot dogs. He is a very friendly man and seems passionate about his restaurant and others to help. Our servers are always beautiful and pretty fast. The reason why I rated it is 4 instead of 5 because I found the breakfast I (2 eggs, bacon, sausage, toast) rather shortages. It wasn't bad, but I just didn't find it very good. I have never agreed to lunch or dinner there and will definitely come back to try them and maybe they will like them better. Overall, I really recommend this restaurant and I look forward to going back. Even though we went last, I saw that they were free food (boxed, can goods etc.) in an accessible place for those who are in need. I thought that was really thoughtful and great to help the needy. I never see where I grew up.

I had a great time playing the license plate game while dining! The breakfast was outstanding. I ordered three eggs over easy with toast, and the hash browns were cooked just the way I like them. I also enjoyed three sausages, three pieces of bacon, and some French toast—it was all delicious and perfectly prepared! Our waitress checked on us multiple times, making sure everything was to our satisfaction. The meal felt like it was worth much more than what we paid!

My daughter and I are “food”. We spent morning shopping in all local antique shops in Oxford and as it was near the lunchtime, we ran a place to eat. We were next to Daddy O's Dinner, so we decided to go there. Salad and burgers were good and daughters sausage Gravy Omelett and homemade toast were delicious. As a Bakers daughter, I am skeptical about advertised “homemade” desserts. The peanut butter and lemon balms were homemade and delicious! Waitress and service were great! Nice to hear the “ Local” chat with the staff, signs for repetition customers! We're coming back!

The food is amazing! Love coming here. The owner and staff are so courteous. The atmosphere is of a great diner.
