Bagel Deli Shop - Oxford

There were a few tables outside, but most people were sitting on the steps of the nearby liquor store. It was hot, we were hungry, and I’m sure we were all a bit impatient. It took about 20 minutes before our order was called and handed through the window. Unfortunately, nothing about the experience felt friendly. The sandwich itself was a letdown. The bagels are non-traditional and somewhat moist due to steaming them, and I didn’t enjoy my plain bagel at all. The rest of my family thought their meals were just okay. Overall, I’d rate it 2.5 but would round down, and I probably won’t return. It would be great if they could hire staff who are more courteous to customers.

When we visited the Bagel and Deli, there were six people working on making the bagels. Unfortunately, there was a 45-minute wait because they were only able to prepare one bagel every three minutes. Additionally, there were around 20 people waiting outside for their orders.

They mixed up my order, and when I brought it to their attention, they just said it was a mix-up and refused to remake it. I ended up having to reorder the sandwich and pay for it again. When I finally tasted it, it was nothing special.

A must-visit spot in Oxford for delicious food! I really enjoyed the way they steam their bagels.
