Value value value. Great service, and large portions. Freshly cooked and they add serves, side of chips or mushrooms or baked beans. Good sized tea pots & coffee cups. Hidden gem. Daily roast lunch and greasy food options.

This place is bad! I paid note of how many people were in the coffee lounge and carvery when we arrived, two tables and us. We asked for something simple (no hot drinks) a sandwich, water and hot food that was already prepared, so we could get in and get out quickly that was mistake number 1.35 minutes we waited until I went to ask for my money back but they said they were preparing our food, so I gave them the benefit of the doubt, mistake number 2. They only brought half of the order, so we had to ask again.No sorry, no freebee, the owner was stood there no apology no nothing. Ironically the sandwich we ordered was very nice but the service sucked. There were several others who complained. at the same time, don`t go there!

I have fond memories of coffee shops in the 1980s, where the focus was more on delicious food and exceptional service rather than just coffee. It was a rare treat and a nostalgic trip down memory lane. Be sure to try the chips!

After a long day at school, we decided to stop by this restaurant for a quick meal. My son ordered a $4 drink, but was disappointed to find that it was mostly just white crushed ice. When we raised this issue with the server, she insisted on charging us more to fix the drink. Frustrated by the lack of accountability and customer service, we left without finishing our meal. Overall, we were extremely disappointed with our experience at this restaurant.

If you're in search of a delicious cup of coffee and a satisfying breakfast, you can't go wrong with Helensvale Carvery and Coffee Lounge. I highly recommend trying their big breakfast - it's fantastic.
