Real Hacienda Mexican - Owensboro

From the moment we walked in, we were greeted with warm smiles. The gentleman who seated us was not only funny but also very kind to our son. In most places, patrons are just handed menus and shown to a table without much interaction, but I appreciated the humor and enthusiasm this gentleman displayed. Our waiter arrived within two minutes of us sitting down, brought our drinks right away, and the food was served in less than ten minutes. He also checked on us frequently during our meal, which is a rarity. The food was some of the best we've had anywhere. It was fresh, well-cooked, and perfectly seasoned. For a change, the chicken was juicy and not dry at all! The salsa tasted genuinely homemade, unlike many places that serve jarred sauces. As we walked out, we couldn't help but feel excited. Despite our apprehensions from past experiences, we left knowing that we'll definitely be back again and again, thanks to the excellent service, reasonable prices, and delicious food.

My employer is a large factory, and they say this restaurant offers us a discount. However, when I went to pay, I was denied any discount. While that alone wouldn't be a major issue, it felt dishonest. Additionally, the drinks were pricey, and the alcohol tasted watered down. I love Mexican food, but I won’t be returning to this place. The location on 54th Street was much better, with great staff there!

I visited their website to place an order and selected my location before calling the number provided. However, when I arrived to pick up my food, I was informed that there was no order under my name. The staff member asked if I had called the wrong location and then mentioned that the phone numbers on the website were mixed up. There was no apology for the inconvenience, and as for the food, it was just typical mediocre American/Mexican fare.

Lightning fast service. The food was excellent, but the speed of service was almost beyond belief. Had the Nachos... the bigger one... I don't recall the exact name. Good portion size. Almost more than I could eat... almost

Good food, decent prices. Definitely have a lot of options I want to try. The three meat chimichanga was nuts how good it was. Steak chicken shrimp and flavor. Awesome.
