Mario's Pizza - Owego

I was very disappointed with the meal we ordered. The calzone was mainly just dough, with just a small amount of filling. The center was mostly cheese, with maybe five pieces of meat, some raw onion, and the crust was so thick and hard. It was the worst calzone I've ever seen, let alone eaten. The pizza we ordered was greasy and lacked any flavor. It was completely bland. I definitely won't be ordering from them again. Oh, and I almost forgot to mention the salad we received: it was nothing more than half a head of lettuce, a thin slice of tomato, and one slice of cucumber.

The dining experience is fantastic! My top picks are the homemade soups, which are loaded with vegetables and meat... simply delicious! I really appreciate the family-friendly atmosphere!

Excellent pizza! The highest praise I can give this pizza is its simplicity: a large crust, ample cheese, and a generous sauce that isn’t overly seasoned. It’s usually a red flag when you see pizza slices piled up in a display case or when a pizzeria cuts back on the number of slices they serve. However, Mario manages to do both perfectly! The rule is to have no more than two pizzas ready at a time, ensuring that they are fresh and warm without drying out.
