It was very fresh and very buttery which provided a great sashimi appetizer to start our meal. We chose the Diamond roll and the Firecracker roll as our main dishes. Both were shared and we thoroughly enjoyed the lobster, blue crab, and salmon that was included in the rolls. The Firecracker comes with oil in middle of the dish flaming which makes an impressive presentation hence...Firecracker roll!! It would add a special presentation for any Birthday celebration or just any special celebration. We had a very cold evening last night, so the warm sake went extremely well with the meal. We have been to Yuki Hana many times, but I would highly recommend the Omakase chef dinner that we attended awhile back. It was an unbelievable experience that you will completely enjoy. Just make your reservations early. The ambiance inside and the great background music just completes a perfect dining experience that everyone should enjoy.
Yum! One of the best sushi experiences I've had in a while! There's so many different flavor combinations and options to choose from. Service was also pretty awesome, we came to celebrate my friends birthday and the waiter sang the unofficial Yuki Hana birthday song with us and everything lol. They had buy 2 get 1 free sushi roll special, it was also happy hour so we took advantage and almost got every roll on the menu. Presentation was beautiful and everyone enjoyed their rolls. I also got some beef dumplings and they were delicious. I also got a sake cocktail with lychee, peach, mango, strawberry and mint, it was really refreshing and sweet. I wish I was a local cause I'd be here all the time, really happy I got to try this place and binge on all of their different flavor combinations cause it would've otherwise been really hard to choose!
Fresh, flavorful, and creative selections. That's hat you'll find in the sushi at Yuki Hana. The owner is super friendly and will ally make recommendations based on what they have fresh that day. Happy hour all day Monday, and they have some good specials! I'm glad to have such a delicious option for sushi near me!
Interesting. I've spent 30 years in Asia. Their version of gyoza was delicious, but like nothing I'd ever had. There are a few sushi rolls w bacon. Also interesting idea. But the Kamakazi roll was delicious. I love eel. This is unusual sushi.... not the normal menu. But very good. The menu isn't extensive. The waitress wasn't familiar with the drinks. But it was good.
I love writing updates like this, and it's not even going from an average rating to a high one my last review was also high. But it had been several years since an update, and I recently made an omakase reservation for my friend's birthday. We were absolutely blown away by the experience. The idea behind omakase is that you trust the chefs to make you something wonderful. It won't be just a selection of things from the menu. You make your reservation three or more days in advance, and the chefs spend that time brainstorming and working together to come up with a themed series of dishes that will blow you away. If there's something you don't eat, you can tell them when you make the reservation, but other than that you'll have no clue what you're walking into until you sit down. Here's the kicker: if you ask them, they LOVE doing it. It gives them a chance to step away from the standard menu and really let their creativity run wild. No surprise here, that's going to produce the best results! I won't go into the minute details of everything we got, because when you go, it will be completely different. But everything we had, EVERYTHING, was thoughtfully and beautifully presented, and it was some of the best cuts of fish I had ever tasted. Their pride in their dishes was evident, from their excited descriptions of what they had made, to the fact that they were sometimes taking quick photos of their work before passing it on to us. This is an expensive night out, and due to the fact that they have so much preparation involved (hence the three day minimum lead time on reservations) that they ask you to put 50% as a down payment when you make the reservation. Don't think, just do it. If you're up for an adventure, this might well be one of the best dining experiences you'll have in Orlando.
