For one, it is was cold but more importantly, as you can see in the pictures, the pizza is just dead. Its paper thin, barely any crust on the bottom, almost no sauce. Just super disappointing. I may give them another chance but for 18$ for a large plain pizza.... probably not.
First time customer as this place came highly recommended. I'm disappointed in the food, to say the least, part of my order was missing (large side sauce for $4) and I didn't realize it until I got home. The garlic knots were slightly uncooked in the center and the pizza crust was burnt. As for the visit, the store was clean and the friendliness of the staff was great. I reached out to the restaurant and was told that there were no supervisors available but would pass on my info and have a supervisor reach out to me the next day. Instead, I had a third party company text me at 10:30pm the same day and offer a $6 COUPON on my next order. ???? Not cool Santino's, not cool at all.
Very disappointed in the new ownership at Santino?s. My family uses the kid?s school fundraiser coupon books to find new places to eat and support local businesses. After ordering, we were informed that the new owners have decided to no longer accept the public school coupon book coupons, even though they are valid until 12/31/2022. The coupon was for an $11.99 pizza and they charged $26+ instead. It ends up being the schools that suffer when greedy businesses won?t honor their commitments. If you?re trying to support local businesses and our community, this is not the place to do it. The food is not very good either, certainly not worth the price.
I want to first thank you for opening up right after a hurricane. However, this review is more so to say that my experience could have been handled a lot better. I ordered my food at 5:30 I sat in your store until almost 8pm. I was told several times that my order was coming. At 7:53 it was told my order was not even anywhere to be found. Half of what I ordered and paid for was no longer available. For 2 hours I sat in the restaurant. I am very understanding and very patient but I was also then handed a pizza that had been sitting and was hard as a rock. I could not even warm it up and get it to taste good. It was burnt and hard and cold as ice. My garlic knots were not provided either. I watched several people have orders handed to them that were not their orders. Minimal communication. If I had just had proper communication I could have canceled my order and left. I understood it was busy. Instead at 8:15pm we were not able to even eat the 20 dollar pizza that we paid for that was not and XL we just got handed a large cheese that had been sitting on top of the oven to get us out of there. Nothing else was open and I was not able to feed my 6 year old what was promised after waiting over 2 hours for our food. I truly do appreciate you all trying to open but communication needs to get better. No customer should of had to sit there and wait 2 hours to be told there order is coming up and the find out it?s not even been made. The food provided was not at all edible.
The food was fantastic, I got myself some mozerella sticks and an pizza. Let me tell you, I haven't had a pizza that fresh in a long time. Not only were all the ingredients just fantastic but you could taste the difference. For the mozerella sticks as an appetizer had plenty in their unlike most places when you order and it's like 3-5 making the price not worth it, but Santino's was worth every dollar and you could tell the mozerella sticks were just as fresh. I appreciated who helped me and even though they were closing soon, you can tell the quality doesn't descend at any point.
