El Mexiquense Wood Grill Cuisine

For St. Louis Mexican restaurants, it gets no more legit than this spot.

Foodies take note El Mexiquense has a very broad range of menu offerings, beyond those typical of your average Mexican restaurant. Those that I have tried were wonderful. Their three salsas each have tremendous flavor and texture (not pureed). The staff, while not especially fluent in English, were very attentive. (This is, after all, an authentic Mexican restaurant) I would like to next bring several friends so that we can sample more items from the menu than the 1 or 2 that I typically order.
