Waffle House - Overland Park

Staff was extremely rude and complaining about their job. Me and my girlfriend walked a few minutes later another group walked in as soon as a table was ready they seated the group that came in after us. We waited for an additional 30 minutes and another group walked in. As soon as another table was ready the waitress sat them at which point we left.

Half the place was taped off. The tables had not been cleaned off. The counter was also full of dirty dishes. People waiting for tables to be cleaned. One old man just standing and not helping the one person actually working. Food needed to be taken out to table had been sitting for a long time. Their bacon was burned. Horrible service and place is dirty.

Service friendly enough.Food hot. Sausage egg and grits bowl filling and adequately tasty. It was busy.A sign says they add a 10% service charge, so check your bill in case that influences your tipping practices. I didn't receive an itemized receipt.Not exactly a spic and span interior-crumbs noted on the floor for example, but with 3 staff working like crazy in a busy joint I would not necessarily fault them. Glad I planned on takeout just the same. Didn't scope out the bathroom.

The whole staff was friendly. we had not waited too long for the tables to be cleaned immediately when the people went. it was nice to see all the chefs at their respective stations, do their part in fixing the food. Kindness: there were children when we were here, I think they have a children's menu.

Are so good! I like how they're open 24 hours and also because I'm an owl at night. service is also amazing.
