Plaza Iii Steakhouse - Overland Park

They sat me right behind a door and every time the waiter would come in, it would almost hit me. The food was not worth the price.

We recently had an absolutely wonderful experience at Plaza III! They seated us at a fantastic table with a beautiful view of the restaurant. Our server, Karla, was exceptional—very attentive and helpful. The manager was incredibly nice and even checked on us personally. The food was spectacular! We especially enjoyed the shrimp cocktail, and our steaks were cooked to perfection. The key lime pie was the perfect way to end our meal, and the cocktails were amazing! We are so glad we chose Plaza III for dinner, and we can't wait to come back!

This is not a straightforward recommendation—it's more of a tentative maybe. We visited this restaurant for the second time, and while it boasts a beautiful design and spacious layout, there were some drawbacks. The large bar area is separated from the main kitchen, making it unclear if breakfast or lunch is served. Our server appeared to be overwhelmed, despite there being only a few customers present. Our drink orders were delayed, and others who arrived after us were served drinks and appetizers first. The food was decent, but nothing beyond that. If this is intended to be the reincarnation of the old Plaza III, management has some work to do. They need to refine their service and elevate the quality of the food, or else this restaurant will just be another decent option in a highly competitive market.
