Mclain's Market Overland Park

Great breakfast joint. Pastries are excellent. Food is straight forward but not stick-to-your-ribs, which is a nice balance. A little much on the urban professional feel.Food: 5/5

We hosted our daughter’s graduation party at McLains in OP and it was perfection. Mason and Addie were so helpful and made sure things were exactly as we wanted them. The space was perfect! We had live music on the patio, opened the garage doors and it was great! The food and drink of course was wonderful. Aubrey helped make the planning super simple and it was great to host this party with very little stress or work on my part thanks to the incredible team at MCLains. If you have an evening event I highly recommend renting this place out you will not be disappointed!

The food and the food alone saved this review. I placed an online order for a future time pick up. Unfortunately, when I got to the location, the food was not ready. That was OK so I proceeded to wait. While I waited, I noticed around 5 employees walked right past me. No one greeted me. No one smiled at me. No one even looked my way as I waited for my food. I had to pull someone to the side and tell them that I was waiting on an order and that I needed it because I had been waiting for over 10 minutes. Even though she was apologetic and offered a free dessert it did not satisfy the distaste that it left me with, on another note, the food was actually really good but the slow service and the unfriendly atmosphere left this review with only four stars. I do recommend the food, but I do not recommend using the online pick up.

This is one of our favorite local places. When one of our kids need a victory sweet or a pick me up, this is our go-to place. Plus the food is delicious and there is a drive through! For the number of people that patron this location, the staff moves quickly and efficiently. In six years I’ve never had an issue. I only wish there was more seating.

GREAT breakfast spot with fantastic food. From Biscuits Gravy to Cinnamon Rolls and everything in between. Set in a really neat environment with great service and they turn the table pretty quick so not a bad wait at all on the Sunday morning we stopped in.
