Hook Reel Cajun Seafood - Overland Park

Our server this evening was Nathan. My wife and I had beverages at the bar while waiting for our table. We were assisted by the manager. Once seated at our table we had an appetizer of the crab balls and then had a boil for each of us. Our food was cooked perfectly with the right amount of seasoning…delicious!! If the food doesn’t stand out the service certainly did! Nathan our server was absolutely excellent that said the entire wait staff that I saw was consistently hustling! I love it how each was meeting the needs of people who came to eat which is uncommon anymore! We thoroughly enjoyed our evening with great food, a very please atmosphere, and wonderful staff! We will certainly be back!!

Our first time and we'll be back! Wanted to try something new for date night and we were not disappointed. They were very busy but we still got seated before the quoted time. Started with some oysters and a specialty drink. Then had some build-your-own boils. Everything was delicious and no complaints! Our server Trinady was very busy but very pleasant and helpful with navigating the menu and making recommendations. Manager was busy helping the bar but still took the time to acknowledge us with a smile. See you again soon!Parking: Parking along two sides of the building, plenty of spots

I was really craving a seafood boil for my birthday lunch and could not have been happier eating here. Food was delicious and service was great. Bathrooms were clean and even had complimentary mouthwash! It is a bit pricey, but well worth it for me. Would definitely come again!Kid-friendliness: Very kid friendly establishment, have crayons to entertain the children and even the table cover is designed to play and draw on. I saw many children eating and having a good time.

Just left there today and we always come in about once a week this was our first time having Cole and he was wonderful, fast and friendly the food was hot and fresh we ordered the captain’s special with an added crab leg! See you guys next week:
