Homer's Coffee House - Overland Park

Fantastic coffee, delicious snacks, and wonderful people!

This is a nice little 'hole in the wall' café for coffee and snacks. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable. I wouldn’t say it’s a must-visit while in Kansas City, but it’s definitely a great spot to stop by for a pick-me-up after visiting the farmer’s market.

I performed there last night with the TSS Band featuring Ray Robinson! The staff was friendly and helpful, and the sound engineer did an excellent job!

We cycled to see the surgical murals in downtown and needed a place to warm up and recharge with some calories. While we were sitting there, we discussed how Homer's Coffee House was a great place for a 1st (or 1000.) Date would be; beautiful lighting with open space. I had the best cinnamon roll I ate in two decades. The Mocha Latte was perfect. Definitely on my surgery in downtown must stop the list. There are only so many mornings to enjoy!

The atmosphere is pleasant and relaxed, making it a great spot to enjoy a drink and soak up some knowledge. The food is absolutely delicious. As a coffee enthusiast, I truly appreciate a place that understands how to make a traditional espresso macchiato. On my last visit, the milk was a bit oversteamed, but overall, I was quite pleased with the experience.
