Clock Tower Bakery - Overland Park

I visited this restaurant with some friends and we sampled a range of their offerings. The pastries were fantastic, especially the orange roll and scone. However, the savory dishes, such as the quiche and Cornish pasty, were underwhelming. I would likely return, but only for the sweet treats.

I was passing through the neighborhood and decided to stop for a quick bite to eat, as I really love croissants. The bakery only had chocolate croissants available that day, so I went with that option. The pastry was quite large, but the texture was denser than the flaky croissants I'm used to. I'm not sure if this is a local preference in the Midwest. It wasn't as buttery as I had anticipated, but it certainly filled me up quickly!

We did the high tea to go (for 4 people) and it was fantastic! We ate until we were full and still had a few sweets leftover. My only warning would be about the tea itself, they give generic instructions to brew using boiling water for 5 minutes, but that advice is really only good for black or herbal tea, if you drink green, white, or red tea you should google how to brew so you don’t burn or over steep. The egg salad sandwich was 10/10 I never thought I’d like egg salad that much.

WOW!! After a very long search to find a restaurant/hotel that served Royal High Tea I found this wonderful bakery!! They actually have HIGH Tea in their restaurant and to go!! We had a bridal shower and did their High tea to go! Let me tell you everything is absolutely delicious!! We had the cucumber sandwiches, egg salad and chicken salad and they were all homemade deliciousness!! We also had ham and cheese quiches, sausage rolls, English scones with clotted cream and their yummy homemade strawberry jam, strawberry cheesecake, amazing fresh French macaron that melts in your mouth, lemon meringue tarts, mini eclair, chocolate caramel cheesecake and their Buckingham palace tea was fabulous!! Everything was homemade fresh and ll the guests absolutely loved it!! We have a hidden gem here in op!! Can’t wait to go back!! Thank you so much

I ordered these as a gift for a friend and she was so pleased with each macaroon I picked out! (Birthday cake, peaches and cream, strawberry, creme brule, and lemon) they were all delicious but birthday cake was her favorite! Definitely recommend!
