Oum Al Koura - Oujda

Very local restaurant, absolutely loved the simpleness and quality of eating! the meal ordered, and it took only a few minutes to serve us for the young. If you starve, your wait is not long. a smoked chicken, which is delicate, juicy and very well seasoned, with homemade frits. very good portions, which they clearly suffice if they order an individual plate and the prices for a comon tajine are reasonable. ordered zealouk to go with the meal, and it tasted phenomenal! the personal is very appealing and welcoming. definitiw a place!

Superb local restaurant. Their specialty is chicken cooked with herbs on carbon, and even if you have tried it in other places, you can be sure that the one in Oum al Koura is much better. They serve you local salads (try the delicious eggplant salad Zaalouk and the broad beans one). The chicken comes with fresh potato chips and crunchy bread and makes an amazing dinner for just 3 USD. On Mondays, they also serve Tanzia cooked in those clay pots in the huge charcoal oven a delicacy. The place is clean and well run, and you will see only local people and families. Not to be missed!!
