Riverside Family Restuarant - Ottumwa

Excellent food and so much of it! So impressed. We just found it in a mood and were very satisfied! Homemade food from scratches! Even the noodles in the soup!! And so low prices!!!

The Avocado Toast was delicious for the second force! A wheat toast with a large fresh tomato slice, huge amounts of creamy avocado, feta cheese and two sunny side eggs on the side that I worked into my toast. You have to try! Pat the waitress was very attentive and friendly as all the other employees were in the last three days we came. I highly recommend this place!

Hubby and I found this place on Google! (Thanks to Google) It was a little busy on a Saturday afternoon. We were immediately welcomed and set. They have an extensive menu and serve daily soup. We ordered breakfast. I ordered the steak phone, that was absolutely amazing. My Hubby has its own omelet. We share a 1/2 order of cookies and Gravy (only served til 2pm) it is the best sausage Gravy I ever had!! And the pancakes were phenomenal!! We will definitely be back!!!

No precedent. Riverside does not pretend to be nothing but a fixed place for classic dishes done as you would expect. The decor is legit retro; the way it is!

We ate here last night today for lunch. The food was Absolutely Delicious the staff was super friendly, especially the two waitresses that we had. Will definitely stop in, anytime we're up this way again
