Zolas Restaurant - Ottawa

I've been coming here since 1997 and always thought it was a cool joint in an unlikely location.

Pizza is awfulMeat lovers had no meat! No mushrooms, nothing but breads dough and tomato sauce that was begging for something to go with it.

Loud, understaffed, and slowBut the food was a tasty successLots of variety in the main dishes and the appetizers.

Spur of the moment we looked up restaurants close to our hotel and found this gem. Delicious authentic Italian food. Starter of perfect Caesar salad, and main courses of Pancetta with peas in a garlic cream sauce, homemade BBQ chicken pizza and homemade lasagna- Yummy. Cozy restaurant with live music as well.Definitely will come back here on our next visit to Ottawa

Received a gift card to Zolas and used it on a pizza to go. Thin crust pizza is my favorite. I loved it! For those who aren't a big fan of thin crust would be disappointed. The toppings were fresh and the cheese was amazing. Good portion sizes
