Try the salad rolls, anddon't miss Tom Yum Guy soup. Just plain delicious. And the staff are efficientand friendly. All this for a decent price! See for yourself!
The salads were yummy. We liked both lotus and green papaya salads, very refreshing. The rice dish portion was quite generous.
We were a chatty group of women out for a dinner and were pleasantly surprised by the service and quality of the restaurant. We were seated at a table with a "lazy susan" and had fun sending our dinner choices around for everyone to enjoy. One comment would be the small bowls to use. We ended up mising the numerous dishes, hence, could not get a true full value of the flavours.
We were there for lunch. The service was not that great and the meal was not very good either. We have been to a number of Vietnamese restaurants before, and this one ranks as the worst for me. The waitress was a bit short in answering specific questions pertaining to the menu, and the service was a bit slow even though we were there early for lunch when they were not very busy at all.We ordered two kinds of vegetarian spring rolls. The salad kind had what tasted and looked like meat to me. When I asked about it, I was told it was tofu. I do eat tofu, but this was not it for sure. It had a pinkish color and tasted like chicken. To me, being a vegetarian means not eating or tasting any kind of meat. If I wanted the texture, appearance, or taste of chicken or meat I would simply eat them! The fried eggrolls also had a funny taste to them. Given these issues, I was not able to eat either version of the eggrolls. I also ordered the crispy noddles with vegetables. Unfortunately, they were watery and tasted very bland. Most of the vegetables were bok choy and carrots, so not very flavoful at all.
We were there for lunch today. We are vegetarians. There are many choices. My wife had stir fried vegetables, which weren't flavorful. They were quite watery. My dish was the same as my wife's, except a texturized vegetable protein used as a meat substitute and hot pepper, also watery. The spring rolls were good but light on the veggies. We have had much better.
