The Works Craft Burgers - Ottawa

I give this restaurant a solid five stars for both the food quality and the exceptional service. It's a must-visit for burger lovers!

This was very disappointing after a day at work in the heat we decided not to cook and go to the works for dinner big mistake!! Not the poor girls fault but no staff to help her 45 minutes no drinks dirty table that we asked twice to be cleaned and no one to take our orders!! My table and two others got up and left ridiculous!! Pay for staff or close the doors trying to support local businesses but it is getting worse every day!!

Amazing burgers! I was impressed with the quality of the meat and overall service! I highly recommend checking them out.

I use to love The Works. Last couple times have been horrible. Most recently was for my birthday with my wife and we were very disappointed. Never going back.Buns were dry, breaded chicken was dry and way too salty. They charge a premium price, but McDonald’s or Five guys would have been a way better option. The waitress is the only reason there is 1 star on this review. She was great.Ps. The last 2 times we went, the table was really sticky and even whipping a wet cloth did not change a thing.Leaving this review with hopes that quality goes up.

Food was good; the less than perfect review reflects the service. Ordered online from the Works website. Only reason we decided to order from the Works was because we had a two for one coupon. It had no number so we could not claim the coupon through the online order. At pick up, we were told there was no way to honour the coupon at that time. We were shocked that (i) the Works provides coupons without coupon numbers; (ii) their computer system is so inflexible that it can't deal with this shortcoming at pick up; (iii) neither the server nor her manager could figure out a work around; and (iv) we were offered nothing in compensation other than a coupon for a free milkshake at our next visit. On top of all that, when we got home and opened the order, it was missing the dipping sauces that we had ordered. Update the manager just called me (even before he had seen this review), apologised, explained the limitations on their systems, and offered me additional coupons for future visits. Gotta give credit for the follow up, so I upgraded the review to three stars
