We ordered chai but it didn't come for an hour, and only after a reminder. We were the only ones in the restaurant for the first half hour, but they seemed to be more preoccupied with cleaning up from a special event the night before - removing the white covers from the chairs, etc. The food was good though, and the price was reasonable.
We were staying nearby at the Holiday Inn Ottawa East and looking for a quick dinner as it was quite late (8:30 pm). We were a bit apprehensive as the restaurant was completely empty when we walked in, but it was a wonderful experience! Great and friendly service and the food was absolutely delicious. I had the butter chicken and my mom had the chicken tikka and we both loved our meals. Prices were extremely low for the quality and portion size too!
Had the lunch buffet, overall very good, excellent selection. Bread was not good, naan I suppose but more like thick roti/chapatti hard and dry; needs work. Very good price.
Delicious and bountiful food, presentation of dishes beautiful, service was excellent and prices were less than our usual Indian food restaurants that we frequent. Definitely will be returning!
Not only did I have the best butter chicken I have ever had here, but the place was full of Indian people, and hosting an Indian wedding- so 1) clearly even Indian people appreciate their cooking and 2) it was pretty cool to witness the Indian celebration. Will definitely be back!
