Namaste India - Ottawa

Great, small friendly Indian restaurant. genuinely good butter chicken, naan, saag carriers and aubergin. her lamb is good when she gets her curry. not a fan of her pakora, but I just tried once. they have a nice lunch buffet when they are open.

Excellent takeaway food (only option now). many delicious foods that we had not tried for about two years. lamb tikka was probably our favorite, but everything was freshly cooked and tasteful.

I never write reviews, but namaste won me! the curries were so tasteful and exactly the right amount flavored. I would recommend dopaiza and bhoona. both very delicious! Garlic-Nan was also amazingly fluffy and tasteful. I chased Indians and it was phenomenal. I feel like it's rare that they end up with exactly what they want, but this take-out has fulfilled my curry demand. friendly gentleman replied the phone when we called. would recommend placing their order by phone. 15/10 would recommend.

We ordered through Skip the Dishes from this restaurant for the first time tonight because our favorite Indian restaurant Taj Mahal, does not deliver. Never again! There is no way the cooks at Namaste can be from India. It was all just so awful....There were plenty of leftovers which all went in the garbage. We love authentic Indian food but this was just a travesty. Taj Mahal is worth the drive for pick up!

This place is a family oriented run business... if you are looking for full masala North Indian style restaurant, then you might be disappointed. On other hand, if you want to try something different, this is one of the best dinner’s we ever had... absolutely...loved it....
