Nacho Cartel - Ottawa

Absolutely tacos. I mean, Tacos, how they should be. Simple ingredients well together. Not only did they look great, they were really delicious. You can taste every fresh ingredient separately and if combined were excellent. Well done!

I'm a huge fan of this little food truck with big dreams. The best fast Mexican food outside the local truck holds restaurants that I have eaten during the trip in Mexico. Do you know how some places offer a solid 6/10, no matter what you order? These guys offer a solid 9/10 every time, without mistake.

Had their tacos two years ago and had their nachos yesterday. Still the same fresh quality with great vibes from staff! Although I think the tacos are expensive, the nachos are a lot. Each layer is above so that there are no Bland chips, and the salsa that comes so good with the Nachos taste. One thing to note, however, is that after their change in location the terrace section is pressed against the truck, so there is no real entrance? It is probably just a temporary thing, but I could see that this is a problem if you are not just small in size / disabled / or if you have a stroller.

Just some of the best nachos/Tacos I've ever had. Shrimp taco is a must, but they are all amazing. Just to make sure they are open before they are on #FoodTruckProblems

Love the tacos here, very different from those of other taco joints in Ottawa, very much like a hole in the wall. If you do go make sure to try the Shrimp Tacos, they have this purple slaw which goes perfectly with the shrimp. The beef and chicken ones are delicious too. For Vegetarian options, they have cauliflower tacos and nachos which are great too. I definitely recommend this place. Staff is friendly and location is pretty relaxing to dine at when the weather is nicer (they have a small patio beside the truck).
