MandyS cafe - Ottawa

We stopped in for a quick bite before heading into the city. The food was great and fast and very well priced. I had a tomato and cheese bagel while my fiancé had a chocolate croissant and we both left very pleased.

Mandy's is a great place to get breakfast or a treat. They have fresh made bagels, pastries and gelato. They are very friendly and very reasonably priced. I would recommend a visit.

The food is made fresh every day, and is delicious. Mandy is very friendly and welcoming to all her guests. The soup is very tasty as are the sandwiches and paninis. The desserts are delicious. I have taken vegetarian lasagne home with me, and have thoroughly enjoyed it. It looks as if she has a regular clientele who eat there nearly every day of the week. Thanks.

We had their lasagna and salad today and it was amazing, loved it. It is also available in take out containers ready for heating, as well as other pastas. Thanks Mandy's staff for the excellent service too!!

Mandy's Cafe is a small cafe in the Alta Vista area of Ottawa - with a much wider delivery area thanks to UberEats. On each of my visits it has been busy, but not overwhelming so, with locals. The food is all made fresh on site. I haven't had a pasta dish yet, however, the women at the table next to me last week did and they were raving over it. I really enjoy their roast beef panini, I asked for both the homemade mayonnaise dressing and mustard on the panini. The restaurant itself is small, a half dozen tables. The desserts and gelato are the first things you see when you walk in. The gelato is delicious, a few flavours on hand, they too are made on site.A healthier alternative to fast food, in a lovely setting.The frozen lemonade comes in strawberry and regular lemonade. The drink selection is on display in a cooler. If you ask for water, a glass is brought to you along with a bottle, which I like as I am a big water drinker and I can simply refill my glass.
