Les Grillades - Ottawa

I've been there more than once as it is located to my work. I have been very satisfied the three times I have been there with either my family or friends as food is very good quality and the portions they serve are very generous.Last time I went there was for Mother's day and we ordered a set of skewers made from different meats including lamb and chicken. The service is slow at times as there was one waiter at times but overall I have had a great experience so far and I plan to go back there very soon. They also serve complimentary nan bread with hummus which is delicious!

They use real charcoal to grill their meats. I cannot find one mediocre meal in this place everything is amazing. I recommend the chicken skewers platter, the filet mignon skewers and the grilles fish. I also recommend the Sunday brunch with foul and fatteh. the new location on Colonnade is very spacious and always find parking. when I am not eating there I order delivery through skipthedishes.Last Christmas we ordered a quarter of a lamb on rice, the best in town.

We finally went to Les Grillades on Sunday May 21 with my wife, 2 kids and niece. We got a table right away even if it was quite busy. Our waitress Salam was very very nice and very effective. We started with some appetizers, called mezzes in Arabic. Hommos with meat, a regular hommos, samboussiks, Taboule, Regular size Fattouch salad (very good size) and potatoes hara. We also had half a kilo of mix grilled meat that came with roasted rice, it was very tasty! For dessert we ordered one knefe and 6 baklavas. The kids loved the food! Our bill was exactly 100$ for 5 persons. We will definitely go back and look forward to bringing some friends with us. Thanks to the owners!

We've been here twice for dinner, each time with a group of 10. The restaurant has been great about dealing with a large group. The food is scrumptious. The flattened chicken is moist and tender. The kebabs are flavorful and the accompanying accents (rice, humus, salad, garlic dressing, etc). are not only superb, but they will cheerfully bring more. Can't wait to try their breakfast.

We visited Ottawa for few days I read a good review for Lea Griddles breakfast and decided to try it. We were extremely delighted with the Fattah foul and falafel. Amazing atmosphere and very nice servers. The food tasted real and authentic. I wish we had time to try the grilled plates. Maybe next time. Highly recommended and worth the drive to south Ottawa.
