Przekaż informację zwrotnąI'm not sure what changed in the past month, but not only is the staff still pretty rude, there is now a negative atmosphere at the restaurant. It feels like a hassle to order food. On top of that, the food, especially the muffins, has changed for the worse. They are now inedible. I will not be returning. It's just not worth it. The muffins used to be the best in town, but not anymore.
I would give 5 stars for the soup, 3 stars for the wrap, and 1 star for the rude treatment received by the cashier. It was my first time visiting this restaurant.
I fondly refer to this restaurant as the "Soup Commie" due to its political themed soups, bobbleheads, and occasionally books that they proudly showcase and sell.
Great soupNice selection of vegetarian options and vegan options.
Claudio the Soup Guy, at Muffin Plus to the rescue. I needed to farm out a hot lunch for 32 people on a cold January day, the day before the lunch, I went to visit with Anna, who proceeded to give me the kitchen soup taste tour. So many soups to choose from, so many flavours. I settled on two, a vegetable and a vegetable with corned beef. Both hardy and above all, tasty. Wishing I could remember the soups names, but I picked them by taste. The soups were delivered in an industrial soup warmer, and set up in our boardroom along with the spoons, bowls, napkins and crackers. As the soup slowly warmed throughout the morning, its aroma permeated every nook and cranny of the office. People were understandably most hungry come lunch time. No leftovers and much praise said it all. Soup is most often regarded as a supplementary food, something to eat before a meal, seldom a main course consideration. Soups really are one pot comfort food wonders. The aroma, the textures and flavours come together in perfect harmony. Soup must be the Plus in Muffin Plus. :)
