Swiss Chalet - Ottawa

I wouldn't normally review a chain like Swiss Chalet, but I thought worth mentioning the fantastic service given to me and my family by Ferya. She was caring, quick and friendly. The food was, as usual, good. Great value for money.

Chicken breast was dry but festive meal was good as always! We were there at 7:30 pm and they close at 8 pm -probably a contributing factor to the dry meat!

I visited store for dinner. I saw that they dropped the chicken from plate. They picked the chicken from table by hand and put plate it back.they did bring plate to me but I did not want to eat it. I cancelled the my meal and manager behaviour was so rude because of cancellation. Her name is Megan .

This is the second time I've tried their roast beef dinner. The first time I tried it it was sliced roast beef this time when I had it, it tasted like it was microwaved roast beef that was pre-made and not sliced off the roast. I was quite disappointed with that point. But the mashed potatoes are hot and fresh the vegetables are perfect the waitress was fantastic it's just that they need to go back to the roast beef but they had. You can see from their ad the real roast beef I had last time, and this was my microwaved meat today.

Horrible!! The restaurant is dingy, cold and outdated. The service was unbelievably slow and barely civil, the chicken was good but everything else was barely passable. We will never return.
