Rockin Johnny's Diner - Ottawa

Prices are getting ridiculous for food! A simple plate of bacon, eggs, toast, and hashbrowns was $14+ tax.Food quality was standard fare, nothing to write home about.Service was great, very friendly, attentive staffAtmosphere was a little tired I know that this is part of the kitsch appeal of this franchise, but it looked like this location could use a spruce up and a bit more personality vs the same old Marilyn/Elvis art and memorabilia that's at all these places.

I had strawberries and whipped cream on my French toast. Wished I'd known there was cinnamon in the egg mixture.Coffee could be better!

We ordered a Spanish Omelette. They served us an omelette wrapped in the veggies. WHAT ? To add to misery, the veggies placed inside the omelette were cold. Literally, Omelette was prepared separately and boiled veggies (cold) were kept inside, wrapped and served. Further, the scrambled egg felt like, it was originally an omelette and later the chef decided to cut into small pieces and serve us rather than preparing a fresh scrambled egg. Later, the server asked if I needed a refill for coffee. I said, yes... but i don't understand why I was charged for it, I took only half a cup considering it was a refill and I was charged $3.5 for it. I liked the ambiance though, hence at least 1 stars.

Great breakfast place, and what's even better than the food is the outstanding service.

Really like the food. Breakfast is really great and the area is loud so your kids will have no problem
