Jimmy The Greek - Ottawa

The Spinach Cheese Pie from Jimmy the Greek was just the thing for a light lunch. I added a Greek salad to the plate and it was perfect. The pastry was light and flaky. The combination of spinach and feta was just right, not too salty. The salad was very fresh lettuce, tomato, cucumber, white onion, black olives, feta and a light vinaigrette. Yum!

Great food but horrible service. I go there on many occasions but there are a few staff there that screw up your orders every time. I keep going back because I really enjoy the food and nice portions. The short lady with the big earrings does not seem to understand English very well. You ask for tomatoes, cheese and dressing on your salad and you get cucumbers, onions, olives, tomatoes, Gyros no tazika sauce? She forgets to put it on. One day the guy behind me in the line saw her and said 'Oh no not her '. Once again the food is great and no overly priced. I just wait until she is busy and get served by someone else.
