El Abuelo - OTHÓN P. BLANCO

This restaurant was recommended by the receptionist at our hotel. We were very disappointed that it did not live to their description. The food was fine, but the service was disjoined... sometimes excessively attentive and then missed in action. A surprising thing: you didn't make margaritas! When we asked about two, our waiter said he could mix 'alcohol' with lime silk if we wanted, but he couldn't make a 'real' margarita. There was no language problem here; I can only come by, but my wife is fluent in Spanish, lived in Spain for 15 years. The location is beautiful.

This is a very simple, basic place that we stopped for lunch on the way back to Chetumal from the ruins. We had absolutely exquisite shrimps and ice-cold beers while we looked beyond this beautiful lagoon. The young man who served us practically did not speak English and our Spanish is a step over not existent, but it has worked everything. Many smiles and so kind. It is very cheap, very simple, but also wonderful.

Warm welcome, but the Zevice lacked taste and grilled fish. The landscape is beautiful. At least cheap.

La comida deliciosa, el mejor trato y los precios súper accesibles!! Sin duda el mejor en esta zona! Los camarones rellenos, las tostadas de mariscos y las jaibas especiales al mojo de ajo fueron increíbles!!!!
