Sushiden - Otaru

We tried the sushi here. The sushi is not really fresh, but the price is higher than those of another local sushi shop we tried, about 2700-4000yen for a common set of 8 pieces. Service is not welcoming in Japanese standard, the hot tea is not served at once, it came after the ordered food arrived.

(During our stay in Otaru) The only place serves unfresh, tasteless sushi. Service was okay and beer was good.

It was terrable! I visited my parents and ordered 1 first because we were starving. Although we said we would order more, the employee told us why just order 1. And she kept unkind attitude until we left and they didnt serve the promotion dessert also! Need to study kindness before serving!

Charged us ¥600 table charge in additional to the 8% tax, never happened in my experience in Japan

Plate of 20 Nigiri was 5,600 yen. Initial impressions were good but after eating at other, cheaper restaurants with equal/better sushi this establishment felt rather underwhelming.
