Otaru Cafe X Hello Kitty

This was such a cute place to stop over. There is a shop at the ground floor with so much sanrio merchandise including those specifically for Hokkaido. The cafe is on the 2nd floor and you have to order and pay in the 1st floor cashier before going up to the seating area. The food was good and the price wasn't more expensive than most restaurants though the serving is smaller. The food tasted like any other restaurant though and the taste was not unique to this cafe. Service was great considering that there were only 1-2 staff there handling everything. Overall it is a good place to check out and experience to see the merchandise and see hello kitty on a plate.

Nice place to eat and rest our legs after walking around Otaru. Located beside the Orgel (Music Box) Museum. Must try for Hello Kitty lovers. Shop on ground floor. If you want to order food, order and pay at ground floor, dining area at 2nd floor. You can sit and cuddle with Hello Kitty plushies. They check first if they have space for you to sit before they take your order.

Cutely decorated food. Taste is so so. Nice decor. Shop is alright with a decent selection of products. A good cafe spot in Otaru for Kitty fans.

Visited again after 3 years. The cafe relocated to another building which seems smaller. 1st floor is the shop and 2nd floor is the dining area of the cafe. Order and payment made at cashier on 1st floor prior to proceeding to 2nd floor to wait for the food to be served. English menu available at the cashier. Toilet is located in the next building. Wi-Fi available in the cafe.

Happy place to eat. Lots of unique hello kitty selection
