Il Convivio Bistrot - OSTUNI

A very nice place for lunch, closer to the new town of Ostuni than the old, aimed at locals rather than tourists, but welcoming and helpful with our food and wine choices. We ate tasty plates of potato gnocchi, followed by red snapper with grilled vegetables, then strawberries, washed down with a bottle of the local fiano. I would agree with every positive comment other reviewers have made about Il Convivio, including that it is excellent value for money.

Incredible food at such a lovely little restaurant. The owner is also very friendly! Make sure to come here for some of the best seafood in Puglia.

What a pleasant, easy going place to have lunch with the children. The locals obviously like it and it serves great local dishes in a Greek inspired colour scheme. The menu is on the specials board so just make your mind up. The bathroom is the cleanest I have seen in Italy or indeed anywhere. Definitely a place to return to. The owners are to be congratulated.
