Each dish was beautifully presented and delicious, but the corn soup was the standout. It is the best corn soup I have ever tasted, and even my daughter loved it. The burger was cooked perfectly, though it was well-done as is typical in the region. Be sure to ask for a side of mayo for the fries. The mini doughnuts were served with mascarpone that tasted like ice cream, topped with caramel sauce and peanuts - a delightful combination. 2) Drinks: The drink menu is extensive, offering beer, cider, wine, coffee, juice, milkshakes, and more. The local hard cider was excellent, and my daughter enjoyed her apple juice. 3) Service: The service was exceptional from start to finish. The staff was friendly, and the timing between courses was just right. It is customary to tip between 10-20% at the end of your meal. 4) Space: The restaurant has a lovely garden courtyard and a minimally-designed dining area that is quite beautiful. The restrooms were clean and well-maintained. 5) Price: Our total bill came to $33 USD, which we found to be a great value for the amazing food we enjoyed. Overall, a highly recommended dining experience.
I visited this restaurant a few days ago during The Colours of Ostrava festival, and oh my goodness, the food was incredible! Not only that, but the staff were incredibly friendly and attentive! My friends and I ordered ribs and fries, and the ribs were so tender and delicious, they practically fell off the bone! There were two racks of ribs, which was more than enough for me, but it was truly divine. We also tried the homemade lemonade in apricot and lavender flavors, which may sound strange, but it was delicious! One of the staff members even went out of their way to translate the menu from Czech to English for us, which was incredibly kind and helpful. The atmosphere was cozy and welcoming, with a hipster vibe. The place was packed with people, but the atmosphere was laid-back. If I ever find myself back in Ostrava, I will definitely be returning to this fantastic restaurant!
Excellent restaurant. interieur and eat super. I come with my friends of messer se, germany
Very beautiful bistro in ostrava. also has a garden for the summer. burger was tasty, nice selection of Czech wine. friendly staff and cheap prices. would definitely recommend!
We went there based on good reviews. The place is very nice, especially the seating area outside. Unfortunately we were seated inside, as there was no space outside. From the menu there is not that much choice, as we are probably used to. We order burgers and beers. The food was nice, nothing to complain about. With burgers came also fries. Moreover, the waitress also gave us water with lemon to clean our hands after eating. The prices are for example 8/9eur per burger.
