The calamari was fried, but it was very pale and, while cooked, completely devoid of flavor and crispness. The mussels, supposedly prepared in white wine with pepper flakes, tomatoes, and garlic, resembled a half jar of marinara sauce sloshed over them, and again, the mussels lacked that fresh, sweet taste. As for the escargot, it was overwhelmed by a heap of what seemed like raw chopped garlic. While the escargot themselves were okay, the excessive uncooked garlic made the dish nearly inedible. Overall, it was such a letdown. I really wanted to enjoy at least one of these dishes, especially since I was looking forward to the oysters.

The food is definitely above average, although it feels a bit overpriced. I recommend trying the Prime Rib. The service is attentive, but it could be warmer; it wouldn't hurt to have at least one staff member smile. The seating at the back of the restaurant is a bit too cramped.
