Poseidon can be the best Greek local in OS thanks to many years of successful work of the older generation. Quality, prices etc., all this will certainly vote for many, guaranteed recognition, acceptance and appropriate financial security. My/our experiences yesterday on a sunny summer evening at 7 p.m. were as always a full place, especially in the beer garden, only 4, 5 or 6 free tables. We only needed 2 seats, but were rejected by a young man who apparently belongs to the family, with the argument that was reserved for the question whether we had been held back before. On the free tables there were no corresponding markings that they are reserved. What we have recently missed here is the ability to find and offer customer-oriented solutions, even when it comes to high quality. During our numerous visits to Greece we appreciate the hospitality and improvisation of the hosts. Unfortunately, this seems to happen here in D, given the continuing great welcome of the guests. Our negative experience is probably not just Corona. So always report in time in Poseidon, which is obviously very important. We know it's impossible to make every guest right. Everything has its two sides. We don't have our opinion without hospitality. It didn't work this time. Too bad.
Parking is plentiful, we noticed first when we drove to the property. We found a beautiful place where we went directly to the building and take a look at the suspension map. We'd find something under warranty. At first, another need for an hour drive had to be clarified. The toilets were okay. Then we went first to the large terrace or beer garden and ordered us an ice cream and Greek yogurt with honey and nuts. The ice was ok (with homemade Italian of course not to compare. The yoghurt should have cost a lot. There were possibilities for children, shadows and sun places. All Greek was able. From the statue to pictures to the table decoration: one had the feeling of being in Greece. The owner was very hospitable. I chose lamb fillets with beans and rice in Metaxasoße (17,00 € and a mineral water. The dish was a salad. I was able to decide if I could put one on the salad bar or served one from the kitchen. Even is the allergic woman and so I started the way to the salad bar. The ingredients offered were fresh (until the corn that did not taste me). I got him as a fad. We were arranged and our group consisted of 12 people. The place was well visited and so we had to wait a little longer than usual. They all have their food hot on the table. The part on my plate seemed very clear, but when I emptied the plate, my stomach was full and I was very satisfied. The lamb was very tender and the sauce was a poem. My accompaniment then ordered a coffee so that the long return did not have to be covered by sleep hike. At first we thought the waiter had forgotten the order, because it took over half an hour until the black watchmaker on the table evaporated hot. Price /Performance is very good, the food super, some service staff (some planned tonight, location beautifully decorated. I would definitely eat there.
Actually, I could give 5 stars, a star draw because it's annoying. I can only recommend the food and there are the best grilled peperonis at all. The staff is nice, except a worthy master who is often somewhere different with his thoughts at the order and does not look at the guest. Otherwise everyone is always very accommodating. Chef and boss are very friendly, still have a nice word. The restaurant is recommended although I must say that last year I was disappointed if it was another cook in the kitchen? I don't know. Now I can only say praise.
We had our Roadsterstammtisch on Saturday 07.10.2017 at Poseidon in Osnabrück. What a restaurant. I hadn't seen such a huge restaurant. This Greek restaurant has 100 people. We had reserved in the back room for 29 people, of whom 27 were present. There was another group of 15 people to us. A table with three people was still in our room. In the adjoining room a kind of winter garden could be accommodated again 40 50 people. All to the normal seats in the entrance area. Although the restaurant was full, my roadstermates didn't have to wait long for their food. And what else was wrong, the food came complete. I was the only one who had to wait five minutes. But that was because I came five minutes later and therefore had to order five minutes later. I had ordered a Moussaka for 12.90 euros. It was delicious. As is the case with upheavals, naturally hot so that I had to wait for a little while and had to pust with every bite. There was also a small mixed salad, with a very tasty dressing. I had two more Cola 0.4 L and a milk coffee after dinner. The only thing to complain was the milk coffee. The foam on top of it could hardly be called such. But he had been praised in the dessert card as such. Total for me: 21.80 Euro that was fine. Why only four stars if I pay him so much? On the one hand, I found them too small for the huge restaurant, on the other hand, of three Pissoir was only two to use. The third Pissoir was directly opposite the sink and was therefore unusable.
