That's why I was delighted to discover La Pietra nearby! I ordered the garlic dressing with chili sauce, but found it to be the standard, mass-produced garlic flavor that lacks any real garlic taste and is overpowered by vinegar. I would recommend skipping it and focusing on the excellent pizza instead. The restaurant is conveniently located near a beautiful park where you can enjoy your pizza as the sun sets. Takeout only for now, possibly due to COVID restrictions, but I suspect they will resume normal service soon.
Wow, the pizza at this restaurant is amazing! I especially love the Thai chicken and the grilled options. The pizza here is really good! Definitely worth trying out instead of going to another pizza place in Oslo. Highly recommend it!
During my visit to a restaurant, I encountered a female waiter who was extremely rude to me, with a hostile tone. This was one of the worst experiences I've had with restaurant staff. I didn't even get to try the pizza in the end. I wouldn't recommend this restaurant to anyone, except maybe the owner herself. The staff was incredibly impolite and disrespectful, making my private dining experience unpleasant. It was clear that they were not truly dedicated to their work.
I have tried many pizza places in oslo and other places in norway and even in other countries (yes also italy.), but I must say that the pizza of this place is one of the best, and that says a lot as I am a great pizza lover, some could say a pizza expert. I really enjoy this place. first is the location in the cozy neighbourhood of wålerenga, with its forty and colored houses. but we are here for the pizza and let them tell them they have some great gems. not like other pizza places where they serve them generic pizza. they can really taste the love and careless that goes into every cake. the pizzas are affordable, a large pizza is about 200nok. the restaurant has a nostalgic atmosphere. they feel like in a cheap Italian pizzeria, where all local Italian people are common. but who cares about it. the taste of the pizza is what is really important and they will be surprised. Just try it, and you won't regret it. I have to warn you. if they love pizza, there is a great chance that they become addicted to this place.
Ordered via foodora app. Not the greatest pizza I had via delivery. Not sure about quality of ingredients. Edible but probably won’t order again when in town.
