Kafe Asylet - Oslo

I absolutely adored this hidden gem. It's a traditional Norwegian wooden building with a cozy interior complete with a fireplace. The service was both friendly and efficient, and the food was excellent. I highly recommend this place and I will definitely return.

This quaint establishment is located in the oldest building in Grønland. However, there is limited beer selection, lackluster food, and poor table service.

Such a lovely, cosy pub with a nice fire reasonably priced Norwegian food! We had the vegetarian stew which was delicious. But the best part was the excellent service! Would definitely recommend to anyone visiting Oslo.

I accidentally stumbled upon this restaurant when looking for a place to eat. Glad I found it, it's a really nice place to eat. Great food for Norwegian-realistic prices. Staff is also friendly, and the atmosphere is cozy. For vegetarians there is the potato stew (see picture) and also a veggi burger.
