I had the vegetarian queen and the vegetarian burrito. they get a decent part at a decent price (by Norwegian standards.) that eating is not especially spicy, and I found it a bit boring I always thought that I could make this just home, cheaper and much tastier. the first time I was there, the service is really sucked, but it had improved until I was there for the second time.
We had two vegetation options, both were very good! the atmosphere was very cozy and relaxed. the service was great! Of course, smiling and happy to be there! the music was also very fitting and pleasing!
I was both in the mucho mas restaurants (my experience in bogstadvein was better) they serve meat and claim a lot of vegetarian options. they use, however, cheese containing net that is not vegetarian. at the mucho mas in grunnerlokka we were only the enchiladas contain jarlsberg (or similar tine cheese) and that the burritos were not made with feta jarlsberg when they arrived with some very fussy jarlsberg. these were only sent back to find my mainly veggie friend who had ordered a mushroom enchilada, had actually received a huhn enchilada. not so pleasant when you just stopped eating meat! after a few back and forth with the kitchen came a veggie friendly meal (and very tasty) and we also have a discount for the mix. in general, I would probably go back, but I would be very specific about my nutritional requirements from the beginning and decide that no cheese would be safe only.
This restaurant has few menu options, but everyone has the vegetarian option. it has a beautiful atmosphere for a normal everyday restaurant to meet with their non-vegetarian friends (they have the meat option and they have the vegetarian option; what the hack, they can even try the vegetarian option with them.) the prices are normal for oslo standard. the personal is in order as in most restaurants in oslo. there are several places with muchomas in oslo (a nice one is in grunerløkka and one near bogstadsveien, the fashion shopping street of oslo.)
Agave has great potential, a fantastic location, and a decent concept, but the execution falls short. This is a place where take-out is recommended. During my visit, I felt unwelcome, poorly treated, and the waiter seemed disinterested. The treatment of other guests was also rude, with little acknowledgment upon entering. Despite requesting no tortilla chips in my taco salad, they were included. The food was decent overall, making Agave a good option for take-out.
