Mama's Noodle - Oshkosh

I informed the young man at the counter that I had never visited this restaurant before and was not very familiar with the cuisine. I mentioned that I enjoy dishes with a mix of sweet and spicy flavors, as well as various meats. He provided a recommendation, which I decided to go with. He mentioned that there would be an extra charge to include both beef and chicken, to which I agreed. However, upon arriving home, I found the dish to be overly oily and lacking in both sweet and spicy flavors. The taste was dominated by cooking oil, flowers, and peanuts, with the beef having a rubbery and tough texture and an unpleasant flavor. The chicken was also dry and tough, and the portion of meat in the dish was very small, with only four tiny pieces of each. I felt that the price of $15.99 was not justified by the quality and quantity of the meal. I will not be returning to this restaurant in the future.

We ordered the house special pho, expecting it to have tendon, but my bowl did not have any. Instead, I was given pork rinds. When I inquired about the tendon, I was told they had run out and that's why I received pork rinds instead. They should have informed me about the lack of tendon before I ordered. Additionally, they were out of lime for the pho vegetables, only offering bean sprouts and basil. However, our pad Thai arrived with lime slices. There was a lack of communication overall, as I would have chosen a different dish if I had known they were out of tendon. They also only had one large menu away from the register, which was inconvenient for customers unfamiliar with their offerings.

This place is much more expensive than most asian restaurant. The portion is also much smaller than most as well. We ordered 3 different dishes to try and only managed to finished one because we were hungry. However, their papaya was nasty and stop eating it after few tries from it. Their Pad Thai was not that great either, very water down and tasteless. We didn't even bother to take either one home. It will be our first and last. For the price and portion size, it's best to go elsewhere.

I loved the experience. Everything was so tasty and fresh. Their customers service is top tier. The owners were so nice I only gave the food a 4/5 because the pho broth was a bit salty. Otherwise, everything tastes really good. I highly recommend it ?

A can't miss spot for pho! Be sure to stop by for lunch as they have $5 bowls. We had a variety of spice levels, and all of them were very good. The chicken pat thai was seasoned well and packed with flavor. The service was fast and accurate. I'll definitely be back here again!
