Cielito Lindo Mexican Grill Cantina

Fast service and delicious food! Vegetarian Quesadilla was full of tasty veggies and Shrimp Camadia (sp? La Diabla was top notch. Stopped here on a long N/S trip and it was perfect. Highly recommend

I thought this would be just another dumpy Mexican restaurant by the side of the interstate but it is surprisingly good. Your meal starts with this delicious bean soup they bring you with the chips and salsa, it just shows up. Menu is broader than most comparable restaurants, more authentic where it counts. Tacos asada were to a very high standard. Good service. Cielito Lindo is the best surprise between Memphis and Missouri, you should definitely check it out.

The food here is fantastic, and the service is both friendly and quick. The guava and mango waters were made fresh with all-natural ingredients. There's ample truck parking available at the Shell gas station across the street.

On our way home from a trip to Louisiana, we decided to stop for a meal. My boyfriend ordered a taco salad, while I chose two soft steak tacos with a side of rice. Unfortunately, my boyfriend's taco salad came drenched in at least a quarter of grease, which could have easily been avoided with a strainer. It was inedible. My steak tacos were mediocre—neither good nor terrible. The rice tasted like it had been recycled. The service was lackluster; I had to ask for our check because the three staff members were too busy on their phones. Overall, I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone. It was one of the worst dining experiences I've ever had!

This restaurant is likely the best Mexican food option in this small town. However, the atmosphere was lacking, with only faint music playing in the background. The staff was prompt and performed their duties adequately, but they didn’t come across as very welcoming. We were provided with complimentary tortilla chips and salsa, as well as a single small bowl of bean and beef soup, despite having two people at our table, which was puzzling. Both the salsa and soup were enjoyable and had a nice level of spiciness. I ordered the tacos al pastor, but they were served without any rice or beans on the side. My dad opted for a taco salad with beef, which ended up looking a bit soupy by the time he was done; he didn't finish it. My tacos were decent but a bit bland. Overall, it was an underwhelming experience, and I was surprised to find that they didn’t offer any tortas. I probably wouldn't return to this place if I'm traveling in the area again.
