Duomo 676 - ORVIETO

Está a passeio bateu uma fome , coma uma pizza no Bar Duomo , muito boa . Bem servida e atendimento ótimo . Recomendo. Fica próximo ao Duomo .

Nice servants were quick to get the order we got a small business card with a QR code, so we could see the menu and beverages never seen this before. Pizzas were quite good and the size a little too much for a normal hunger but OK. Fine athmosphere sitting outside but still unpleasant that other guests smoke....

We must have lucked out as we were served by a lady who had no time for our attempts at Italian which was pretty good in fairness as both our kids learn it at school. She was incredibly rude with other tourists as well. The espressos she served were undrinkable and apparently they didn't do hot chocolates. It always seemed busy when we passed though and the other staff appeared to be friendly but unfortunately they weren't on when we went in and we weren't going to waste money trying it a second time when there are so many options.

This place was a lifesaver as it was the fourth place we tried to find a meal at 4pm. We had Underground Cave Tour reservations in English after 5pm. I noticed 2 large families were eating and their babies, toddlers and children all had something acceptable to them to eat off the menu. Orvieto takes Mezzogiorno very seriously and we were so grateful these employees worked hard to seat, feed 8 more tables after us when nothing else works be open near the Duomo until 7pm.

We tried several pizzas and exchanged prices. I think there were no exceptions. All were good. Not everything works in the afternoon so this was a fine place to come across.
