I can swear by the quality of their amala. i’ve had it up to 8 times just because i wanted to see if the taste will be consistent. boy, was i surprised in the most positive ways possible. my go-to is usually amala, gbegiri and ewedu beef. that can cost between ₦1200 and ₦1400 depending on how many protein i decide to eat. i’ve never tasted gbegiri this good, so, i recommend 100%. downside, the payment/checkout system may strike you as odd, especially if you’re not used to this style before. this aside, please go there and buy amala, eat it in the restaurant to get a complete experience. good luck!
As a local food canteen, Iya kan thrives well in the locality and is one of the most sort after canteen in the area. Despite a good number having people work in here, there is usually a lot of queue of customers wanting to buy and be served, so don't show up if you're already super hungry .. Especially in the afternoons when her pounder yam just got ready. I think her regular customers already know the timing. But generally, it's a good dish, good enough for her standard.
Show me a better Amala spot in Ketu. Eat according to your pocket. They have a variety of staple dishes prepared with a touch of 'Africanness '. You can eat-in, take-out or get it delivered to your home too.
Terrible service, uncouth staff and general terrible ambience. Good food, bad service, not worth the stress
