They had few dishes (both meat and fish choices) on the menu but I would say this is a plus so they know what they are good at. Pasta was perfect, I had gricia, our friends gnocchetti and the kids amatriciana. Also the arrosticini were remarkable, while the tagliata was ok but not spectacular. Definitely a good option..
Terramia is decorated in a cozy homely manner, but the dishes don’t lack in sophistication. For starters we ordered cozzometro which provided for a burst of flavours, each one so distinct and tasty that it was hard to pick a favourite, but the lemony one covered in breadcrumbs was our special. Our son had mezze maniche “Gricia” con guanciale di Norcia (he declared this guanciale the best bacon ever), while we ordered carbonara di mare (with seafood replacing guanciale), which was surprisingly good and risotto with gamberi, tomatoes confit and basil unusual but excellent combination. We would eat more if we had any place left in our stomachs. With house wine, beer etc the bill hardly exceeded 50 euro, which was a bargain tourists in Tuscany can only dream about. We loved this mixture of Roman and Ortonese cooking and highly recommend it.
We ate here for my birthday last week and were really, really pleased with the whole experience. The restaurant is located on a roundabout but one inside it's full of atmosphere and the food and service were fantastic. We opted for a mixed seafood antipasto which was more than enough for the 3 of us and full of fresh fish and seafood, beautifully presented and full of flavour. We each had a fish pasta which again was plentiful, fresh and tasty. The house wine and the freshly made bread were delicious and the price was very low for the quality we received. We will be back soon and often.
