La Bussola - ORTA SAN GIULIO

Stayed here a few times now which should say everything you need to know.... and I intend to go back. Nice, family run hotel with everything you need in one place. Great (family style service, above average (great restaurant and view on lake (incredible and if you opt for the room with a view, it is certainly worth it. Don't expect super modern rooms with all the mod cons but they're clean and it fits in with the style of the hotel. Did I mention the pool....best in class...(perfect for a hotel? ...and you can watch your kids swim whilst having a great lunch on the terrace. Better still...this place is pet and kid friendly....is there anyone in Italy who doesn't like kids or pets...thank you for making us feel welcomed. Parking available on site and great location...just 5 mins walk away from the lake front and the main square. Nice accessible areas in vicinity for walking the dogs...and the kids!

We had our 25th wedding anniversary celebration at this place: it has been really wonderful! Terrific location and amazing treatment! The owners have been really kind and helpful, all details dealt in professional ways. Food was good and service very kind and attentive. I surely advise this place for your great occasions!

The Hotel is nice located, just outside the centre of town, well reachable by car. The rooms a nice, comfortable and clean. The staff is very, very kind and helpfull for all kind of wishes that a guest can have. The restaurant provides excellent services for real Italian dinners for large groups.

We dined at this restaurant on a rainy evening during our stay at the hotel. The portions were somewhat smallish but fairly good quality. The staff were very attentive and extremely friendly.
