Killer Monchis - Orotina

Waiters speak english! I could not ask for more, increadible. Gerson, the waiter that took care of us, went as far as to bring us a dessert for the fourth of us for free, not to mention that he gave us a table for my friend to put his laptop as his was finishing some work. Now the food, the Killer Sandwich was great, fair amount of meat and size, pretty good. Killer Nachos looked great too and the fried fish fillet quite juicy. Overall highly recommend. Oh and bathrooms are gender neutral.

Great place to grab a bite in between drive from Fortuna to Manuel Antonio. Very reasonably priced and good traditional food. 4,000 colones for my bistec Casado

Happy with the service and food.. 2 orders were delivered by mistake but in less than 2 minutes they fixed, no major issues and happy at all.. I’ll recommend the place to stop by.

Stopped to eat in Oritina on the way to SJ. Have tried the 2 restaurants right at the hiway entrance multiple times and somewhat disappointed. Drove an extra 100 meters and saw this awesomely named restaurant and had to try. Great decision!! 4K for a huge, amazing steak casado. 4K for a chicken soup with eggs that we shared as an app. Price was great and the flavors were incredible. Casado comes with a natural juice; 4 or 5 choices. This will definitely be a stop for us every time we drive to SJ. The restaurant lives up to its name without a doubt.

Food and service is 5 star and then some. The dishes are freshly made to order, the portion (for me) will be 3 meals. Staff clearly loves what they do. Each person truly generated Pura Vida. I only gave 3 stars for the atmosphere because the cafe is on the corner of a busy road that is near ramp to Highway 27 and can be noisy. But I will deal with the noise over and over to enjoy the fantastic food and company of the wonderful restaurant team.
