Restaurant du Pillon - Ormont-Dessus

Très bon acceuil, très bon service, très bonne qualité.Nachdem wir einen extrem unfreundlichen Empfang im Rest. Crestaud hatten, entschieden wir uns, ein anständiges zu suchen, dessen Angestellte einen mit Respekt behandeln. Dies fanden wir hier und hatten obendrein ausgezeichnetes Essen und Wein.

Wir haben uns entschlossen anstelle auf dem Berg zu essen im Restaurant Col du Pillon, gleich neben der Talstation einzukehren - ein guter Entscheid.Das Essen war sehr gut, die Bedienung sehr freundlich.Urchiges Essen in gemütlich, rustikalem Ambiente - genau richtige nach einem Besuch des Glacier 3000.Die Rösti war sehr gut, Bratwurst mit Rösti auch.

Sehr abwechslungsreiche Küche, jedes Gericht wird wunderschön angerichtet und stellt nebst einer Freude für die Augen natürlich auf eine Freude für den Gaumen dar.

The owner, Francis, a great cook. We loved the Inn and the restaurant so much we canceled plans and stayed another night. We ate both night in the restaurant. If we had more time, we would have stayed a night.

As I said in the reviews of the same place, we were not allowed to eat in the restaurant because it serves only residents. Since we weren't there, we couldn't get a meal. Very disappointing on two counts, we were on... Foot walks a long way there and secondly on the street there are large ad boards for hotel advertising the fact that they have a restaurant!
