Le Stuberl - Ormont-Dessus

I enjoyed my 4-course dinner and breakfast here very much. The service and the attitude were excellent. The staff was attentive and gave good recommendations.

Very good Swiss cuisine, especially breakfasts complete with excellent spreads. Dinner was also pleasant, with fresh, balanced and well refined meals.

I don't know how to start. On the one hand, the hotel is very well located, just a few minutes walk from the ski slopes. The service was impeccable and very friendly, especially Pierre in the restaurant was fantastic, really great and proactive. We were... with our parents and two children a 5 years and the other 7 months. They always gave us a special purpose and we were quickly served. On the other hand the rooms, now they have not changed the furniture for decades I suspect. Everything has a different color and there is no harmony in space. The beds are big, but very hard, for us a bit too hard. The bathroom was disappointing, there was mold everywhere near the bathtub, so it does not invite you to take a shower. For the hotel it would be a real plus to invest in renovations in the bathroom. Dinner at the restaurant was good. Overall we had a good stay at the hotel. For a 4 star superior we expected a bit more.

There were usually several courses and one was just as delicious as the other. The table was nice and the wine was reasonable.

The restaurant offer very fine food. Each dish is accurately prepared by the chef. The portions are not large nor small but considering the entire meal the quantity of food is perfect to make you feel totally satisfied.
